IT Department
The department that runs the machines. Led since 2026 by Simone Campana, appointed through an open expression-of-interest call — and organized in specialised groups (compute, storage, databases, platforms, networks). It operates the identity stack, hosts the WLCG IAM instances, and carries the it-strategy-pillars into production.
