The concept is retained, but product-to-site assignments and claims of a single common namespace have not yet been verified against a current primary source.
WLCG uses heterogeneous storage services distributed across its tiered sites. Rucio, FTS and XRootD have distinct data-management, transfer and access roles; this node does not treat them as interchangeable or universal at every site.
